Your files
CineView indexes and streams video from paths you configure on the player host (typically Movies and TV Series volumes). Those files are not uploaded to a third-party media cloud as part of normal playback.
Metadata
When a TMDB API key is configured, the player may query The Movie Database for posters, plots, cast, and IDs, and cache results beside your library. TMDB's own terms apply to that API use.
Network exposure
A Cloudflare Tunnel (or LAN URL) makes the player reachable by your Apple TV. You control whether that tunnel is running and who can reach it. The marketing site does not proxy your library.
This website
The public marketing pages are static product information. They do not require an account and do not access your media catalog.
